The role:

This is a unique opportunity for an exceptional and mission driven CCO with experience in Marketing and Sales and a background in scaling tech start-ups successfully. You will be part of the core management team and take the lead in all non-product and non-tech related functions.

You will play an important role in strategic decisions and the overall direction of the business and ensure that the business goals are met. As a member of the executive team, you are expected to roll up your sleeves and fill gaps as needed by the business while you will grow your teams.


Your Responsibilities:

  • You will be working with the CEO and the CTO to set the vision and the mission of the company, including defining long-term goals and strategies

  • You will drive growth, profitability and company value from day one by uncovering new growth opportunities (including new platforms, channels, partnerships, and third-party integrations) to acquire new customers

  • Together with the leadership team, you will identify product, feature and pricing elements that will further strengthen our market positioning

  • You will take the lead in further scaling our sales & marketing channels and make sure to hire the best talents to build high-performing teams both in Sales and Marketing

  • You will be a growth hacker in everything you do and proactively figure out how to unlock operational efficiency, and deliver scalable solutions for the business units

  • You will have a lot of visibility beyond the internal corporate structures, join board meetings, ensure that operative KPIs are set and met correctly and support in investor-related and fundraising topics

  • You will work closely with all departments and ensure focus, efficiency and alignment with the company strategy

  • You have 5+ years of experience in high-performance environments: high growth tech start-up, top tier consulting, banking or similar

  • You are an entrepreneur and solution-oriented executer: You have a bias for action, are able to perform in ambiguous environments and get energy from building things from scratch

  • You have in-depth experience in digitizing and scaling processes; proven process orientation with focus on scalability and profitability

  • You have a proven track record across several of the core business functions, such as sales, marketing, finance and operations

  • You are a self-starter with a 'getting things done' attitude and an insatiable curiosity for the tech industry and digital technologies in general

  • You have a strong business acumen, excellent analytical skills and are naturally inclined towards data and process driven thinking

  • You are a passionate leader with high levels of energy and enthusiasm, who creates an environment where people are motivated to go the extra mile and get things done

  • You have very good communication skills in English (both spoken and written) and knowing German (or other languages) is a big plus
